About The Facilities
Bottoms up!
No seating is provided. You should bring blankets or groundsheets to sit on. Not only will this protect you, it will mark your territory. Those wishing to bring folding chairs may do so but will be respectfully invited to certain areas so as not to restrict viewing for those on the ground.

No food will be sold at the event. However, you can make your own event in one of two ways.
1. Make up your own picnic hamper – be as lavish as you like. Some people have been bringing 3 course meals complete with cutlery and crockery. Topped off with Champagne and wine and you have the perfect decadent evening soiree. Please try and remember to bring a refuse bag for all rubbish at the end of the evening.
2. If you prefer the ‘laid back and let somebody else do it for you approach, you can pre–book (up to 72 hours before the event) a picnic and have it waiting for you at the door. PICNICS can be booked and paid for in advance with 4 options:
- Meat £10.00
- Fish £10.00
- Vegetarian £10.00
- Child £6.00
Picnics are being made up and supplied by Linda Briscoe of www.blocdirect.co.uk. £1.50 from each picnic goes to the charities.
Picnics can be purchased on the page where you buy your tickets or through The Berkeley Gallery and all picnics ordered and paid for will be available for collection at the gate on arrival at the performance. Orders can be placed up to 72 hours before the performance.
You can also bring any soft drinks and / or alcohol into the performance.
Please don’t ruin the ruins!
Please remember that the Castle is an historic site. WE THEREFORE RESPECTFULLY ASK YOU ALL TO COLLECT AND REMOVE ALL ITEMS OF FOOD, DRINK AND PACKAGING WHEN YOU EXIT AT THE END OF THE EVENING!
